Coronado Hospital Foundation 33rd Annual Gala

Gentlemen, reach for your silk shirts; ladies, pour on your glam! It's time to plan your sparkle for a feverish Saturday night on May 9, 2020 when Coronado Hospital Foundation presents its 33rd annual gala, "Stayin' Alive" at the Hotel del Coronado.

1978 was the year that the "Village People" of Coronado came together to support exceptional health care by establishing Coronado Hospital Foundation. It was also the year that Hollywood heartthrob John Travolta, took to the dance floor and showed us how to boogie.

The Stayin' Alive Gala will be a magical night of dazzling disco displays and music by the Bee Gees and Donna Summer. The electric evening will begin with a three-course dinner and drinks and end with dancing the night away.

Proceeds from the Stayin' Alive Gala will support life-saving services at Sharp Coronado Hospital through the Campaign for Emergency and Intensive Care. The emergency department's current eight beds will increase to 14 and the department's footprint will expand into the existing Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The new ICU will move to the hospital's fourth floor featuring six state-of-the-art private rooms, eight acute-care patient rooms and a lounge for patient's loved ones.
