Giving Opportunities at Sharp Coronado Hospital

Arts for Healing
Sharp Coronado HospitalDesigned with the latest clinical research in mind, Arts for Healing programs help improve the spiritual and emotional health of patients who struggle with pain, anxiety, chronic illness and mental health issues. The introduction of art, music and writing into the healing process minimizes stress levels, elevates spirits and increases comfort- often contributing to faster recovery.

Free to patients and funded entirely by philanthropy, the Arts for Healing program has a dramatic impact on Sharp and the people of our community.

Coronado Project 2020
In the early 2000s, Sharp Coronado Hospital developed the Coronado 2020 Master Plan, a series of projects to expand and improve the hospital's capital infrastructure.

Through the generous support of loyal donors and community members the hospital has been transformed over the past decade- including the emergency department, main lobby, first floor corridors, medical-surgical unit, Sewall Healthy Living Center, Mindful Cafe and healing garden. The most significant project under Coronado Project 202 is the Payne Family Outpatient Pavilion, opening this fall.
